Todd comes to the Journal with many years of experience working with top technology companies in the US and Europe.  He holds a B.S. in Engineering from UCLA and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from USC.  Todd has two years of patent drafting experience and has worked with several local patent practitioners.

Michael Scapin, Senior Comments Editor
 

Michael comes to the Journal with a mixture of experience in business and technology within the telecommunications industry; most recently as a law clerk in the AT&T Mergers and Acquisitions Department. Michael earned his B.S. in Math & Computer Science, and Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  This past summer, Michael worked as an extern at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia.

Christopher Judge, Senior Production Editor
 

Christopher comes to the Journal with a unique academic background and a diverse range of experiences.  Before coming to law school, Christopher graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in English Literature.  He went on to teach English Literature to ninth and eleventh graders for five years. This past summer, he worked in the litigation department of a corporate law firm in Palo Alto.

Joanna Lahtinen, Senior Production Editor
 

Joanna comes to the Journal with experience in the biosciences and intellectual property law.  Joanna holds a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona, and a M.S. in Applied Biosciences from the University of Arizona.  While working on her master's degree Joanna interned in the legal department at Ventana Medical Systems, Inc., a medical device company recently acquired by Roche.  During the past six months Joanna interned at eBay, Inc. in both the patent group and the intellectual property group.

Natalie Morsette, Senior Production Editor
 

Natalie joins the journal after graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and Classical Civilizations from Loyola Marymount University. This past summer, Natalie worked in Palo Alto as a Summer Associate for WilmerHale LLP, where she plans to work after graduation.
