The Board of Editors of the Santa Clara Computer & High Technology Law Journal Cordially invite submission of articles, essarys, and case notes of legal and scholarly nature covering emerging issues at the juncture of technology, law, and public policy.

 

Areas of Interest

The Journal actively seeks submissions of scholarly work in the areas of Computer Law, Biotechnology, Trademarks, Copyright, Patents, Technology Licensing, Intellectual Property, Telecommunications, Trade Secrets, Venture Capital, Antitrust, Electronic Commerce, Cyberspace Law, and related areas of intellectual and legal interest.

 

Specifications

To be considered for publication in the Santa Clara Computer & High Technology Law Journal, manuscripts should be in English and conform to the following specifications:

 

   

Set 1" Margins
 
Double space your manuscripts and use footnotes, not endnotes.

  

 

Your first page should include the title, your name, an abstract, and biographical information in the first footnote.
 
Citations should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (19th ed. 2010) and substantive content should conform to The Chicago Manual of Style (16th ed. 2010).

 

 

Method of Submissions

The Journal accepts submissions exclusively though ExpressO at http://law.bepress.com/expresso.  Detailed guidance on submission procedures may be found at http://law.bepress.com/expresso/how_to_get_started.html.

 

Due Dates

While article submissions are accepted at any time, there are a few dates where submission would have the greatest opportunity for acceptance and timely publication.  These dates are August 1 for consideration and possible publication in Issue 1 of any given volume, October 1 for Issue 2, January 1 for Issue 3, and February 1 for Issue 4.
